Misterwives, a relatively new alternative band based in New York city released their album "Reflections" earlier this year. They are a relatively new band but have already gathered quite the following. Their single "Reflections" name same as their album already has over 3 million plays on the popular APP, Spotify, as well as over 100 thousand plays on the popular site YouTube.com. The band also has over 18 thousand likes on Facebook. The song has fun lyrics and an up tempo beat, perfect for singing along to. The music tends to make one want to get up and dance around the room.
On June 17th of this year They released their "Reflexions Remixes" album which is remixes of the already super fun song. The lead singer, Mandy Lee, is the only female in the five member group. Her singing voice sounds much more mature and cultivated than her 1992 birth date would suggest. Having only the one female and all the men explains the clever band name. The band will be on tour in Eastern United states as well as a show in Toronto starting in August. They have a lyrics video on YouTube.com that includes the beheading of a giant gummy bear, complete with ketchup blood, so if you don't check out anything else about this band you should at least take the time to see that!
I would rate this band a 4.75 out of 5 because they are new and I would love to see where they take their musical journey!

Screen Tees! The love!
I'm going to talk about something
awesome today! Screen tee's! Most everyone who is a fan of something
has a shirt for it these days. I love screen tees because its a way
for people to support their fandom and show their love so all the
world can see it! They also make great pajamas because they are
comfy!
I own a few different shirts from a few
different genres. Most of my shirts are Harry Potter and Doctor Who.
Of the 12 shirts I was able to find today 5 were Doctor Who, 4 were
Harry Potter and then I have a Zelda, an X-Men, and a Miyazaki
films/Studio Ghibli shirt. Most of them are from Teefury.com and Hot
Topic.
Teefury only has one or two shirts a
day for $11 a day. They also have their gallery which is shirts that
were popular when they were sold and those shirts are $18. They also
have grab bags on random days and the shirts are $6 each but you
don't know what you are going to get. Another site that has daily
shirts for $11 is TheYetee.com. I have never personally purchased a
shirt from there but I have looked at some of their stuff and its
pretty awesome!
So what is your favorite place to buy
screen tees, and what is your favorite screen tee that you own? If
you don't own a screen tee, is there a reason? If so, please let me
know! I'm a super curious person :)

Intro
So I basically just wanted to start with a post about what I want to accomplish here. I want girls to know that its okay to been a nerd and a geek and be girly. Mostly its important to just be yourself and if you enjoy something, if you love something, don't be afraid of enjoying the things you enjoy. Personally, I am obsessed with Harry Potter even now that its been 13 years since i read the very first Harry Potter book. I read fanfiction all the time. I just love it! I want to find out what others love, especially the girls who have a super nerdy/geeky side. I love science, I love reading. I am a huge fan of Adventure Time and Doctor Who. I want to know, what are the things in your life that make you who you are? So I will post things on here about my interests that are nerdy/geeky as well as the things that make me girly, because on top of enjoying those things I also enjoy baking, crafts, painting nails, writing, and all sorts of things so there is no knowing what will show up here but I will definitely be keeping it updated with fun things going on.
